Photography

Present

An ongoing project dedicated to preserving and showcasing old photographs taken on film. Every photograph was originally captured by anonymous amateur photographers. My work consists of collecting the original negatives, selecting the images that I believe have artistic, aesthetic, or historical value, and carefully processing each one to produce the best photograph possible. Behind the often objective gaze of the amateur, whose main goal was simply to capture a moment, I bring my own artistic vision and sensitivity. The result is a fascinating journey into a forgotten and often overlooked part of photography, one that is nonetheless remarkably rich. It also offers a unique and direct window into history.

To date, the project includes a selection of around one hundred photographs chosen from more than 15,000 sorted negatives.
